TBJJ 20th Anniversary Celebration’s Edition
As we celebrate the Tinguinha BJJ Academy’s 20th Anniversary, our 15th TBJJ In House will be slightly different in format this year. We will be holding Team’s Duels in the Blue & Purple belts, Brown belts Superfights as well as a Black Belt Grand Prix presented by the Tinguinha BJJ Academy In House Tournament 20th Anniversary’s edition with the support of the Albino Preto Brand.
We are looking forward to celebrate this year’s special TBJJ In House edition with everyone.

TIME LIMIT FOR Regular Tournament
REGULAR TOURNAMENT Rules
Bent knee locks, bicep locks, heel hooks, cervical locks, scissor takedowns and slamming WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.
Guillotine, neck cranks or ANY type of foot locks WILL NOT BE PERMITTED in the KIDS DIVISIONS.
Leg locks or toe holds WILL NOT BE PERMITTED in the WHITE/BLUE & PURPLE BELT divisions. Only straight foot locks are permitted.
All competitors must wear a clean Gi.
Male competitors are not allowed to wear t-shirts, rash guards and etc... underneath the Gi, wrestling shoes and head gear WILL NOT BE PERMITTED as well (rash guards are only allowed for women).
Any competitors who does not show up for a match will be automatically forfeit the match and registration fee.
Competitors should arrive 30 minutes prior to their match.
This will be a single elimination tournament.
The referees will reserve the right to stop a submission of any kind if the competitor is in danger specially in the kids divisions; we intend to make sure all competitors are safe, it is always better to stop early than too late.

BLUE & Purple Belts ONLY
The TBJJ In House Team Duels will be an exciting Team’s based competition designed for BJJ blue and purple belts divided into 2 weight categories Lightweight up to 170 lbs and Heavyweight up to 205lbs.
TOURNAMENT DUELS FORMAT:

-Two Weight Categories in each belt rank - Lightweight & Heavyweight
TEAM STRUCTURE
-Each Team will consist of 3 competitors only
COMBINING TEAMS FOR COMPETITION
If a Team does not have all three members, we can combine individual athletes to create a full Team.
HOW IT WORKS
-Teams will face off in a Duel Style competition
-Matches will be fought one at a time, with a draw on competition day
-The Team that wins most matches in the duel moves on to the next round
The format challenges not only individual skills but also Team strategy.
Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Team Places

4 MEN BRACKET - Single Elimination
A 4 men bracket Grand Prix with one weight division Lightweight up to 170 lbs. Presented by Albino Preto.
This exclusive, invite-only event showcasing talented Black Belts of our BJJ Community.
Winner get prizes by Albino Preto and Championship Belt.

ALBINO PRETO, A premiere jiu-jitsu lifestyle brand, is proud to present the Tinguinha BJJ In House Invitational Black Belt Grand Prix. The Grand Prix Champion will receive Albino Preto prizes, as well as a custom championship belt to mark their victory.
This event is a celebration of skills, strategy and the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
